It’s great of you to join us, glad you could make it. This is the official opening of Intendo: a place that will entertain, make you laugh, fart and cry, and hopefully make you think differently about the games industry.
Prerequisites for reading: an open mind, a sense of humor, and a hate for sugarcoated opinions.

Lookin’ forward to the bashing….
But just for the record: as your “we all love, and we all hate” post implies, I think most of the bashing usually comes from fanboys who hate seeing their object of worship changing directions into something unusual or original… Like re-naming a new console “Wii”…
I’m always switching sides in the gaming arena between MS and Nintendo and SEGA, depending on which console is on the news at the time, so I don’t consider myself a “fanboy” per se… and I guess I can’t get offended by anything said against Nintendo or any other company.
I do take a morbid pleasure when reading some good ol’ Sony-bashing, however.
Actual fanboys may vary, but if they’re willing to ditch a console solely based on its name, they need some motherfuckin perspective.
Don’t worry, we don’t want to piss EVERYbody off. You aren’t close to a fanboy, so we won’t be riling you up. However, you can take pleasure in our ribbing and do it yourself, too.
Fanboys who where pissed about the Wii’s unusual name got pissed at Rollin’s positive view on it. I remember signing the petition.
But you do have a good point iman.
Yes, valid point, but it only makes them look even more close-minded.
