Dr. Who game slated for DS, Volta pleased

March 5, 2008

Listen, i don’t know half an iota about what Dr. Who is about. It’s definitely popular in a cult way, i know that. And while this doesn’t count towards knowledge on the subject, i also know that the only band fit enough to be my favorite happen to like the series majorly. So to any fans of the show, fans of Volta, and Volta themselves, this is for you.

Eidos is making a Dr. Who game for the DS, and have released absolutely no details on the game. You have a lot to chew on, get to discussing.

This could be either good news or disastrous news…

Why begin development on a platform that is supposed to be leaving the gaming arena, and one that is more fit for casual games? The answer, I think, reeks of the production values of the show itself: LOW BUDGET!! That has been the signature of the series since its beginnings in black and white…

I like the bedlam in gotham more than amputechture. feels more polished and less experimental for the sake experimentality.

    pc, PS2, and DS?

I dunno, but when a non-japanese developer makes a game specifically for a last gen console it screams budget game.

Not in the case of the PS2, Ryan: Atlus is bringing the next Persona (4) out only on the PS2! And it looks gorgeous…

That’s why I said non-Japanese. 😛 Atlus publishes it but some Japanese developer (i forget who) makes it.
