Golden Sun DS (for reals this time)

October 29, 2007

Well looks like his little cry for love may have worked after all.  Or not.  It’s probably just sheer coincidence, but Camelot software has publicly announced their intent to make a follow up to Golden Sun on the Nintendo DS:

“We have to do it! Not just that we have to do it, but we want to do it. Nintendo has asked us to please make it. But at the same time we haven’t gotten around to making it. We’re not really sure why (laughs)…One of the reasons that we haven’t made golden sun is because there are so many fans of the game and we don’t want to do something half-assed. We want to give it the time it deserves.”

Well there you have it kids, it’s legit now.  It’ll probably be a long stretch before there’s any more news on the subject, but at least there’s something for us to look forward to down the line for DS.

Props again for the sharp eye on our number 2 fan, Ledah Ironwing!
