Sega commits exclusively to the nostalgia platform
Ok Sega, i know you just gave me Virtua Tennis 3 for PS3 earlier this year, but come on, man. If you’re gonna release a Wii game wherein 3D avatars smack a ball with racquets, can you make it just a tad more akin to pro tennis? Do i have to see Sonic in every single Wii game now? Can somebody please release a goddamn tennis game with decent motion control for Wii?!!
Ahem. Well, what can ya do.
What to expect from Sega’s new, throwback-driven game, Superstars Tennis:
I don’t respect Sega enough to end this on a good note, so please, jump and cheer for joy in the comments so i can cry in the corner and promise my first child to whomever can provide me with a competent Wii Sports Tennis replacement. Don’t stop till i tell you, it’ll be a while.
WTF. Online on all plaforms but wii. Thats bullshit. Luigi above agrees.
Luigi is a-very angry! Luigi is-a gonna go take a-piss on a-sega!
Just keep praying Virtua tennis is in the wings.
Top Spin’s on its way, but the way Table Tennis turned out, I’m underconfident. But really, what’s with Sega and trying to make ppl nostalgic over 5 year games.
What happened to the SEGA on Xbox I loved so much?? Panzer Dragoon Orta, Gun Valkirie, Otogi… That was a company that used to take risks making original and VERY beatiful games!
Even on Dreamcast they used to be the most edgy of all companies… does anyone remember SeaMan? At least they got Ulala on this tennis game… but why not release a new Space Channel 5, at least as a download on LIVE Arcade or Virtual Console??
