Wii Fit has a Weight Limit

October 12, 2007

Wii Fit offers a great way to drop some extra weight…unless you are too much of a fat arse.

From the land down under…your guts.

“Nintendo’s marketing genius borderline gaming gimmick, Wii Fit, will come included with its new Wii Balance Board when it debuts in Japan on December 1, but those who are a little…larger, say larger than 136 kilograms, will have to look elsewhere for their fitness fix.”

For you guys who are not fans of the metric system. 136 Kilos is just about 300 pounds.

Stick to Spin Class 300+ sukas. Nintendo has no love for yah.

That’s kind of stupid. It’s the fatties that need Wiifit most so why exclude them Nintendo? you’re losing market share to fatcamps around the world!

    @ Ryan

300 pounds is helluva lot of weight. I’m impressed that this Wii Fit board, with all it’s technological components and mass manufacturing in plastic can even withstand 250 pounds. Unless of course, Nintendo has stress-tested the board at much higher poundage already (say 350-375 pounds), and just want to state 300 pounds (or 136kg) to cover their ass in case people start cracking the plastic boards and want their money back.
