The new Wii drought
Blind followers of intendo, hear ye, hear ye:
Yes, we’re busy. Yes, it’s hard to blog under such circumstances. Excuses, excuses. But what we want you to know is that it’s hard to post even when we have time, such as the case with me right now. Although Nintendo is using dollar bills as shit paper these days, things are a bit dull in the Mushroom Kingdom. For instance, my one stop shop for Wii news just inundates its readers with filler posts because there aint nothin happening of interest with Wii. The ratio of surveys to news is, without exaggeration, about 12:1. Not even the mighty GameCube makes headlines anymore. I dunno what gives.
Compare that to the constant flow of PS3 news that their sister website gets and it really helps us stay irregular. It’s like that all over. Wii just is not an intriguing game console right now. There is Corruption, but Metroid Month is over. So is Wii news. Hence why you’re likely to see more original features than news during this period. Hopefully it changes as soon as the summer-to-autumn transition takes place.
Should you disagree, tell us why Wii is still in your spotlight. If you say Dojo updates, i’ll kill you.
