Intendo’s newly optimized feed

Feeds are important for blogs these days. Some may think that they aren’t since it means people don’t have to stop by your site anymore, but that’s not the case. Your site is like a newspaper, while your feeds act as the news tickers you see on CNN.

I recently took it upon myself to optimize our feed with Feedburner to help people stay connected from us from far away in a better way. You can now add it to basically any feed aggregator with just a couple of clicks, and the presentation is much improved over WordPress’ basic feed display. Also new to our feed are DiggIt and StumbleIt links to let you spread the word if you’d like, as well as a comment number display so you know people are already talking about a particular story.

So you stop-and-go visitors who don’t like to stick around, humor us and take our feed with you. We promise: someday, you’ll be entertained. Everyone else should add our feed, too, if only so you can keep up without trekking over here all the time. Don’t be a stranger, though. If you wanna add our feed at a later time, you can find them by clicking on the feeburner icons at the bottom of the sidebar. We appreciate it.

OK, so, what’s the difference between this new feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/Intendo) and the old one (https://intendo.wordpress.com/feed/) again??

The new one is easier for me to keep track of; shows how many comments a post has and displays DiggIt/StumbleIt links.
