a most overlooked game

So if you haven’t played this game, you are missing out on one of the best bitgeneration games created. I don’t do large reviews since they take so much time. So this’ll be quick. you don’t even need your eyes!! thats right, no sight is needed to play any of the games. its all based on sound. I do highly recommend using headphones or the whole experience is lost.

There are 7 games within this game all dealing only with sound. The main game is called “sound catcher” in which sounds are coming at you from above and you have to line up the sound so its right in front of you, meaning left and right ear sound is completely balanced. This game continues until you have a whole music track of these smaller loops, very electronic.

Sounds weird right??? but its fantastic!!

All the games are quite varied, my favorite is “sound drive” where your a “car” and other cars are coming at you and you have to dodge out of the way. I must admit i’ve jumped and swore many times trying to beat a stage.

Overall score: 9.5

I don’t think any game will ever get a 10 in my book. well maybe. 9.5 is damn good. ta hell with quality graphics, its all about game play. Thanks Nintendo!

Yeah, I heard of this awesome-sounding game, and it was one of the “Bit Generations” games at the top of my list! Another two that I was interested in were Orbital and Dotstream.

dotstream is just as great, an 8 bit style racing game with really great music. orbital is awesome too, a planetary style lunar lander type game.
