Wii the people…

December 6, 2006

A few choice quotes i’ve heard from typically PlayStation-inclined ghetto folk concerning Wii over the past week:

GameStop employee, as i buy Madden for Wii: “I played the Wii at my boy’s house, we was doin’ the golf joint. That shit’s official.”

Friend of a friend at friend’s house, as we play Madden: *the guy enters* “Ohh! It got graphics? What Madden is this, Madden 07? Yo, this shit look hot.”

My brother as i play Madden: “Them Japanese niggas think of some crazy shit sometimes…

Nintendo (and EA), you have a winner.

Also, depending on who said it, the gamestop employee was either a straight G or just a typical Gamestop employee.

lol – That is too funny. I am sure this was a Game Stop in the city. The ones by my job have older people (30’s or older) working in them but still fanboys nonetheless.

This is the one on 34th. They have people from the mid-20s up. Outside of this guy and some girl, all of them are mostly fanpeople.

So? What do YOU think of Madden on the Wii, Rollin?

Not being an American Football fan myself, this is the very first time I’ve considered getting a Madden title, just because of what I’ve read about the Wii-controlled gameplay…

That was my reason, and i’m not into football Americana at all. It may be the first EA game i’ve ever bought.

I’ll give you an impressions post later.
