Meet the press

November 11, 2006

Dpcough of Live Gamer was the first in a hopefully long line of game sites to question yours truly in both our and his first interview.

Click over to read us discussing Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 a little, online plans, downloadable content, game prices, and graphics. Maybe some other stuff, too, i’m not sure. Some of it was edited, so ask questions if you must.

Look ma, we’re famous.

    Hey Stranger.

I enjoyed the interview. I’m glad your site is doing well.

    Great interview!

It is so difficult to be an early adopter these days!

Especially in gaming, all three companies think we have so much time to burn. I won’t be sad if I don’t get a Wii on launch day… It probably will be some time before I can get around to play it.

Thanks, it turned out better than i expected.

Yea, i think time – even though i don’t have the money to burn anyway – is a more crucial point to consider. Which is why i prefer games that are great for a few days and get finished within a week or 2, such as the 16-hour long Gears of War or your typical 20-hour handheld game, to stuff that promises FF length gametime.

People stop playing long games halfway through for a reason, they either get bored with them because it takes so long, or they don’t have the time to devote in order to stay interested till the end.

I can pour hours into any game i choose, but i have obligations and the game either interferes or it gets neglected. Yeah, i’m pretty set on not getting Zelda now.
