Wii onn Yahoo

Attack oof thee douuble letters.

Yahoo Games has a grease-slick Wii page that features Wii photos on flickr, Wii ads, news stories, Wii tags from del.icio.us and My Web, a Wii-related Yahoo Answers section, overall Wii info, and a countdown clock that even tracks the seconds and milliseconds. Aint a goddamn thing on that page unrelated to Wii. Even the official Wii site bends over for this place.

Staring at the seconds fly by kinda makes it seem like Wii’s approaching you full speed, ready to clock you on the head with its spectacularly weak lineup.

WHa? now i know this site is all about free speech and getting rid of blind bad grammar using assholes that write in all caps. but wii’s launch line up is doing fine. theyve got zelda, excite truck, zelda…….excite truck…….and 32 diversions!

that may not sound like much….. but when compared to lineups in the past. there have definetly been worse.

Hey Stranger. How’r them chickens treating you nowadays? Seriously though, thanks for properly interpreting our MO.

As for Wii’s lineup, that’s my own personal opinion…which happens to be fact-based. I mean let’s be real, Zelda is too much of a given to be factored in, especially since it’s not a total Wii game. That’s incontestable. Excite Truck is true blue, but i’m cautious. Trauma Center, Elebits, and Rayman are the other worthy candidates, but that makes 4 out of 30+. Red Steel is already in the danger zone, so that’s out.

Like i said in my last editorial, Wii’s launch is like the DS, Cube, and PSP’s combined: it has a few solid entries in a pool full of garbage. There’ve been worse, but that doesn’t make this one any better.
