Brokeback Bully

October 30, 2006

Oh Yeah, I went there.

So if you have not heard the ESRB is debating whether or not Rockstar’s Bully, is worthy of a M rating since it contains to boys swapping spit. It has a T rating currently and this is REALLY a big deal. So lets look at the facts.

Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

So solely by these descriptions I would say yes, this game should be rated M for sexual content as long as every game that had kissing any kind bumped up to M as well.

In fact. Spider-Man: The Movie had Mary Jane making out with Spidey at the end of the game. I, totally unknowing, beat the game again on hard with the cheat GIRLNEXTDOOR. The cheat allowed me to play as Mary Jane in a dress. Well did activision go out of there way to prevent some hot twin lesbo action from happening at the end of the game…NO!!!

And this game was rated E for Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recall it. It was hidden in the game just like Hot Coffee. Someone call Hilary Clinton. Someone call GLAD!!!

Uh, I thought you were fired, wtf? Not that I want you to stay fired, mind you, but my token Asian brain cannot comprehend sudden turn of events.

I want that Mary Jane girl on girl action, gotta get that spider man game! They really need to work on those ratings though, but its hard to say how. Sometimes kisses can be very tender, and sometimes they can be really sensual, so who can say which is which when it comes to rating a game?

You see, Jack Thompson likes him some hot girl on girl action (surprisingly), so he actually advocates the gaming industry during the period in which one these succulent situations occurs.

Well, anyway, those homosexual make-out scenes are far from intense. It’d be different if we saw some teabagging.

Actually, the GIRLNEXTDOOR code was removed from later versions of the Spiderman The Movie game. Last I heard anyway.
