Cooking Mama dishes because Majesco can’t take
2008 April 25
This here’s an oldie but kinda goodie. I’m cleaning out my old Wii Fanboy feeds and find this — Majesco sent a snide letter to a Gamespot editor for giving Cooking Mama 2 a 6 of 10. Everyone involved, including the guy who received it, took it well. But i’m not sure. Here’s the letter:

They weren’t mean or anything, but i wonder. Publishers sending letters out for bad reviews? Is this what it’s come to in the industry, gamesmanship? The example to follow seems to be, when your game gets a bad review, tell the reviewer how much money it’s made you and you come out the victor.
Keep up the mediocre work, Majesco. Stay rich.
I don’t know… even the crappiest of games have someone behind them that put some time and effort into it, perhaps that even being his main project that year.
There is an audience out there for Cooking Mama 2, so why not cater to them?
