Wii takes over the installed base race, no one befuddled

Bout time.
The last to launch becomes the console leader in less than a year. Now that we don’t have to worry about whether it will or won’t assume the lead position anymore, what does this mean for us: will Wii be the benevolant dictator like the PS2 was, or will the current situation continue?
Actually, it happened faster than I thought… I really thought the 360 would hang in there for another month because of the Halo 3 and Bioshock launch.
Isn’t a benevolant dictator an oxymoron?
Weather benevolent dictator is an oxymoron or not, I am shocked that the Wii has such a big install base considering the lack of games. The ratio proves that a $250 console is an impulse buy as well as a cultural phenomenon.
I only hope they can buy up some more studios like Retro to make some games for us freaks, AKA core gamers.
